Drilling and production operations in Morocco’s maturing onshore fields and developing offshore acreage demand increasingly sophisticated technical expertise. This two-day workshop — limited to 25 participants — delivers advanced knowledge in a hands-on, case-study format.

Workshop Programme

• Day 1 Morning — Directional and Horizontal Drilling: Trajectory design, BHA selection, real-time geosteering, case study from the Gharb Basin
• Day 1 Afternoon — Well Integrity and MPD: Barrier philosophy, managed pressure drilling applications, kicks and blowout prevention
• Day 2 Morning — Production Optimisation: Artificial lift systems, production chemistry, scale and corrosion management, surveillance strategies
• Day 2 Afternoon — Enhanced Recovery: Water flooding design, polymer EOR feasibility, CO2 injection — applicability to Moroccan reservoirs

Learning Outcomes

Participants leave with updated technical skills directly applicable to ONHYM’s active drilling programme, plus a set of engineering templates and reference materials for immediate use in the field. ONHYM CPD credits issued upon completion.
